HPP (High Pressure Processing) is an all-natural FDA and USDA-approved cold pasteurization process that helps food and beverage manufacturers ensure food safety and stability without the use of preservatives or heat. Food products, already sealed in final flexible packaging, are placed in a vessel and subjected to a high level of hydrostatic water pressure (up to 87,000 psi). The process destroys common food borne pathogens such as e-coli, salmonella and listeria, while preserving the food products natural nutritional properties and extending shelf life up to ten times normal expectations.
